Throughout February Trevor Pitt’s radio show Sleeve Notes Sessions on Brum Radio is a series of special shows dedicated to LGBTQ History Month:
2 Feb: Artist Ian Richards latest sound collage has been made in response to LGBTQ History Month. Speaking about gay culture, clips of news reports from the 60's 70's and 80's, excerpts from Paris is Burning and interviews collide elegantly with records from Zebra Katz, Doris Day, Soft Cell, Larry Grayson and Sylvester.
9 Feb: Trevor is joined by artist and Fine Art lecturer Dr Mo White who will talk about her life and career in the arts by selecting records that have influenced her.
16 Feb: Trevor is joined by Shout Director, Adam Carver who will talk about the Birmingham LGBT History Festival and select records that have influenced him.
23 Feb: Trevor will be joined by founding members of Queerzone 3000 who will talk about their current projects, including ‘Do You Really Want to Hurst Me’ that explores the development of the scene that is referred to as ‘Birmingham’s Gay Quarter’.
